We are committed to support HOPE worldwide in Honduras. Our goal is to raise $8,000 to assist with the operation of the medical clinic and the elementary school. It is so easy but we need your action.
In the city of Chamalecon,
many people are in desperate need of glasses, shoes, and medical attention. Many middle aged and elderly people suffer from severe cases diabetes, which affects the eyes, feet, and kidney. It is among the top causes of death in the country. The children in this region suffer from parasites and skin infections. Also, the polluted water and dust in the air causes respiratory problems. In order to reach these people, HOPE worldwide volunteers works to educate the people and to gather funding to provide health services.
Honduras is one of the most violent countries of the region. The separation of families, lack of employment and education are the principle causes of this problem. In the School of HOPE, the students arrive with a smile on their faces because they have an opportunity to change the future of their lives and their families. About 200 children are benefited every year with the help that this school gives.
