Why am I redirected to a different store when I select a product?
The products displayed in The PLAZA are a selection of the best brands and products out there. The store index in the plaza is a catalog that will take you to the main brand page. You will be redirected to the exact same product. You can securely finish your shopping and that will allow the sale commission to be returned to the sponsored project on Bakery Lane.

I couldn't find an item from one of the brands that are displayed. Where can I find it?
When you are directed to the branded store you will get to the same product that you selected on the Bakery Lane Plaza. However, you can browse the store catalog for any other product and if it is done in the same session the commission is still applied to the sponsored project. Remember to go back to Bakery Lane to continue shopping.

Would I be contributing to the sponsored projects every time I buy from the store I selected?
No. You have to access the store though Bakery Lane in order for the sales commission to be applied to the sponsored project.

Who will deliver my product?
The final vendor from which you purchased will deliver the product as was established when you closed the order. All the tracking for delivery and support information will be provided by that vendor. Bakery Lane will receive a referral commission which will be applied to the sponsored project.

What happens when I return a product?
When you return a product, you will have to comply with the vendor’s return policy. When a product is returned the commission is not assigned to the sponsored project.

What if the product is DOA?
If you have a problem with the quality of the product, it is damaged or not working properly you will have to contact the vendor directly. Each vendor has its own support and DOA (dead on arrival) policy.

What are the Vintage products?
Vintage products are products created and designed by the art & design department at Bakery Lane. Vintage products are original and communicate our mission message. Vintage products also include special projects and causes where we tailor make all products. Vintage products include T-shirts, hoodies, polo’s, shorts, pants, shoes and accessories like mugs, cups, bookmarks, mouse pads, mats, flags, clocks, tiles and many others.

Can I select a project to sponsor when I buy from the plaza?
No. Only when you shop for Bakery Lane Vintage products you are able to assign your contribution to a specific project.

Is the commission from my purchased applied immediately to the sponsored project?
No. It usually takes one or two weeks for the store to acknowledge the operation. Once the contribution is received it will be sent to the organization sponsoring the project on a Monthly basis.

How do I know how is my contribution used?
When you register on the HELPing section you will receive a newsletter with a monthly report of all the contributions.

Can I donate directly to the projects?
Yes. Just go to the Organizations section and look for the Donation box. Your donation will go straight to the Organization’s funds.

Can I recommend a project to sponsor?
Yes. We can always consider new projects to sponsor. Just send an e-mail request to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . We can also design special products for a cause that will assign the contribution directly to it.

Can I report my contribution as charitable giving?
Only if you donate directly to the organizations. If you do, you will receive form them a report and summary of your contribution. 50% of the commission received from the vendor will be sent entirely to the organization sponsoring the project. The other 50% will support the programs and operation of Bakery Lane. To know more about these programs just register and receive our monthly newsletter.
